Mediocrities played at the Saturday Stage Parents Festival. There was dance in the pit and wild clapping throughout the auditorium. This theater fund raiser was produced by the "Friends of Southwest Theater". Ann Heltemes was General Producer. Brad Heltemes was the emcee for the evening. There was a host of volunteers helping with the show, concessions and donations. The entertainers were volunteers with a connection to Southwest. Some are parents of students and alumni. It was a great event and if you attended you know how fabulous it really was.
If you did not attend, you can still support the Southwest Theater. Send in your check of any amount to Southwest High School and in the memo line write Stage Parents. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and needed to continue the events in the auditorium and continuing fantastic theater.
