Last
weekend, the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) competition was held at
these four sites around the US: Penn State University, University of Iowas,
University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of Georgia. For more about

Minnesota
brings four teams of 15 students to the Iowa site each year.
This
year, Michael Tang, a 10th grader from Edina, finished second in the nation,
the highest finish ever for a Minnesota student!
Our
top team, Minnesota Gold, finished 11th in the nation in Division A, the
highest finish for a Minnesota team since 2003.
Our
second level team, Minnesota Maroon, finished 38th out of 92 teams, the highest
finish ever for Minnesota Maroon in Division A.
