If you have a Target Red Card you received a letter from Target officials announcing the change of donating money to your school if designed by the customer. Over the years Southwest has receive significant dollars thanks to the families and community members who designated Southwest as the recipient of the 5% of purchase.
That will end as of May 14, 2016. By using your Target Red Card after that date you no longer will be supporting your school. Any purchases made prior to May 14, 2016 will be eligible for the donation to schools (Southwest). If you have not designated Southwest as the school for your Target Red Card donation, you must do so prior to January 1, 2016.
Thank you Target for years of supporting schools. Thank you Target Red Card holders for designating a school and Southwest as the recipient of the donation.
Please make sure you use your Target Red Card and designate Southwest as your donation center.
