TV Script Writer and Southwest Graduate Tracy McMillan

Tracy McMillan, a 1982 Southwest graduate, visited with our Literature and Performance students.  Leaving her California home and arriving at Southwest straight from the airport, she shared with our students her journey from student to professional writer and TV script writer.  The students enjoyed her frankness, openness and words from the heart about growing up, reaching a dream and being part of a successful career.

Tracy McMillan is an American author and television script writer. She is known for writing two books based on Huffington Post editorials of the same name.  Her script writing credits include Mad Men, Necessary Roughness, Life on Mars, and The United States of Tara.
