The 2013 PreK-12 Minneapolis School Information Fair will take place on Saturday, January 12, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, located at 1301 2nd Ave. S., Minneapolis. Please mark your calendars. You may be aware that we previously considered hosting the School Information Fair over MLK weekend, however decided to select the January 12 date to ensure greater attendance among families and MPS staff members.
We are proud to announce new this year that Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) has partnered with the City of Minneapolis, the Youth Coordinating Board and various Minneapolis charter schools to host an all-encompassing school fair. Thanks to the efforts of Council Member John Quincy and the City of Minneapolis, space at the Minneapolis Convention Center has been donated for the fair. More information about the fair will be shared with you in the coming months.
