Help on Give to the Max Day November 12!
The
Southwest Foundation needs every family to give to the Foundation and help
support its important work at Southwest High School. Give to the Max Day,
Minnesota's amazing outpouring of support for nonprofits, is a great time to
support Southwest's students, too. This year, with your help, the Foundation
will be funding:
- science and math supplies and exam fees;
- theater productions like the 9th and 10th grade play
and guest artists and actors;
- ACT preparation classes and tools to improve AP test
scores;
- a 9th grade academy to build community and school
spirit;
- student scholarships to make IB examinations
affordable for all;
- clubs, activities, leadership programs, and the
student newspaper;
- a Wellness Fair to focus on student mental and
emotional well being;
- field trips, classroom supplies, and all supplies
for homeless students;
- improvements to the school's weight room;
- collaboration with Project Success;
- the Passport to College program;
and
- technical personnel to support academics, the arts,
and athletics at assemblies, classes, rehearsals and performances in the
auditorium.
Our
Give to the Max Day goal is $15,000 and 40 new donors. Schedule your gift today
here or plan to give on
November 12th!
