The Southwest Link Crew welcomed the entering Class of 2017 for their first high school experience. Cheers, high fives and noise greet the incoming students by over 125 junior and seniors.
The program was for both students and families. The students started with a welcoming party in the gym. The parents started with a welcome in the auditorium.
Students participated in numerous small group activity and ended the evening with their schedule and a tour of the building.
Parents were divided by last name and divided into smaller group for information for the guidance staff, a college admission panel and a student panel. Their organized program ended with a fashion show.
The final activity for all was a picnic in the commons with the four 9th grade team of teachers.
The evening was shared by a large portion of the class of 2017, teachers and Link Crew.
