A levy helps fund important educational programs and services that are not fully funded by the state. MPS is committed to using its levy authority to meet the needs of present and future students and to only levy for what schools need. We are proposing no increase in the school district levy for property taxes payable in 2014. The school district currently levies for $172.4 million.
