The Southwest Debate team traveled to the Stillwater Debate Tournament Saturday. Thirty-two SW debaters joined with over 350 other high school debaters representing over 25 schools from throughout Minnesota.
Henry Aoki was named the number one outstanding Varsity Debater of the entire tournament.
The debate team is comprised of two team members. Each team debates in four rounds of debate with four other high school teams as opponents. The team debates two rounds supporting the affirmative and two rounds supporting the negative.
