If you missed this evening of excellent performances and fantastic performers, you missed a wonderful night.
Saturday night was a showcase of performers dedicated their efforts to the work of Southwest theater. Professionals who are parents of Southwest students, alumni from Southwest and wonderful Southwest community people presented an evening of sights and sounds.
The evening was a fund-raiser for the theater program. The Southwest theater program and its supporters present for your enjoyment:
- Footlights -- a delightful musical experience for 9th and 10th graders only
- Black Box - four shows student produced, directed and acted
- Black Box musical - this year will be Dream Girls
- Major Main Stage Play this year is the Crucible
- One-Acts - presentation of several one-acts for experienced and new actors
- One Act State Competition - One of the one-act competing with all the major suburban theater programs as part of the state competition

Hundreds of students each year experience the thrill of hard work, team work, practice and wonderful performances. Your support makes it possible.
