Minneapolis & Southwest Closed Tuesday Jan. 28

MPS schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 28, due to extremely cold temperatures. This closure will affect all MPS schools, programs and activities, including all Minneapolis Community Education programs and the Minneapolis Kids school age child care program.

 To make up some of the instructional days missed due to weather this year, classes at MPS will be in session on Friday, Feb. 14, and Friday, March 28. These dates were previously scheduled record keeping and parent conference days. We are working with MFT to identify time for these activities to happen. More information will be forthcoming once a decision has been made. We are communicating these make-up dates to families now so they can plan accordingly.
