Weather Decision By Sunday Regarding Monday School

Extreme air temperatures and wind chill are currently predicted for Monday, January 27. Staff and families are advised to monitor media, social media, the MPS website, and school websites over the weekend for updates on whether or not MPS students will have class on Monday.

In order to ensure the most accurate forecast possible and still allow enough time for staff and families to plan, MPS will continue to monitor weather forecasts over the weekend and we will notify you of the district's decision between Sunday afternoon and evening. We encourage parents and staff to consider childcare and transportation arrangements for Monday accordingly.
