The return of snow to Minnesota accompanied the construction trailer showing up on the font lawn of Southwest High School. The snow this morning may be reminder of what has been winter and a foreshadowing of spring. The construction trailer is a sign of things to come.
The implementation of the planning and preparation begins with the move on Friday. The project is beginning. The trailer was a visible beginning and barrier walls will start to appear next week.
Unlike the snow that will disappear soon, the construction will be with us for the next 18 months or so. We are Minnesotans and can deal with the snow and cold weather. We are flexible people and can continue our learning and moving through high school. We really don't want to build a snowperson but we really want to build a quality building for our quality students and community.
