Rain, Ice and Snow

Busy time of the year and now more winter temperatures but rain. Be careful of ice. The morning could be interesting.

It is that time of year that any given morning could be an adventure. This morning some of our schools were without electricity. There are happenings each day. Listen to the early morning radio, Wear warm clothing and adjust to the conditions.

The building is open at 6:00 am. Thus, there is a warm place if you get caught in between for some reason. Walking and parking are always problems but on ice and snow days the conditions get even more intense. Pay attention to parking restrictions on all the surrounding streets. Plan ahead for walking conditions. Be safe.

We try to deal with the various conditions but there are numerous city streets around us and the hill in front of the east building and coming up from the park. Safety is important and you need to plan for cold and slippery conditions. We want you in school safely.
