“If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you read the newspaper, you're mis-informed.”
― Mark Twain
"It was on TV, it must be real. I read it in the newspaper it must be a fact." If that is what you believe I have some swamp land I would like to not show you for sale.
High School is an exciting four years full of adventure, emotions, hormones, love, hate, boredom, and changes. That has been true for all the years high school have existed.
For those that have a personal experience with those four years, I am sure the memories are full of great success and horrible disappointments. There were people you enjoyed and those you did not. You dated some and others you only dreamed about. You were full of passion and emotions. All of that has not changed.
Southwest is committed to providing the educational opportunities that empower each student to be his/her personal best. The dedication to excellence in academics, arts and athletics is both a tradition and a constant. That was true 74 years ago as families found it necessary to send their children from overcrowded West to the newly built Southwest. That is true today. An education at Southwest is personal and full of options and opportunities. Regardless of where your travels take you throughout the world, a Southwest diploma is recognized as quality and meaningful.
After watching the latest TV news or reading the newspaper stop over to school and experience the truth.
