5C- Class 11:50 - 12:40 Lunch 12:45 - 1;10
6- 1:15 - 2:05
7- 2:10 - 3:00
The 2015-16 End time remains the same for Southwest High School - 3:00 pm
The Start time is a bit earlier to allow for the 50 minute periods - 8:10 am
The will be a zero prior to 1st period and an 8th hour after 3:00. These are specific courses for student flexibility and different opportunities.

I am disappointed parent and student input at the school board meeting did not favorably influence this decision. Teenagers need more sleep and later class start times to optimize learning. This decision was shortsighted and will reduce actual learning, especially in the morning periods.
