This past Friday was the end of the first semester. The school year is now half over. In general your son/daughter should have EARNED 9 creidits. Each quarter is worth .75 creidits with a passing grade. Thus, a full semester - two quarters - is 1.5 credits. Six courses means six times 1.5 credits and would result in 9 credits if your student earned a passing grade in all six classes.
This is very important as your son/daughter moves through the grades toward graduation. Failed courses in most cases need to be repeated. It is important to pass the class and earn the credit.
If you have questions about credits and passed/failed courses please call your counselors.
