Southwest City Pool Opens after one-year renovation.
The Pool located in Southwest is OPEN!
The picture is the view from the new spectator bleachers high above the pool level. In addition to new bleachers, the pool diving area is deeper, remodeled locker rooms, new filtering and ventilation systems and new ceiling and score board.
The entrance to the pool area for swim meets remains door 17 but instead of going down the stairs to the entrance, one now goes up the stairs to the new entrances.
There is still work to adjust the ventilation system but that is all part of a new operation. The pool represents the continuing commitment of the District to quality facilities and a quality sports program for all students.
