One Billion Rising Dance Out

Giant kudos to the eleven students who braved the plummeting temps last night to raise awareness about violence against women in the One Billion Rising Dance Out on the Stone Arch Bridge.  It got super cold!  

Claudia Lerma, Stephanie Escobeda, Karen Hernandez, Stephanie Daub, Colleen Staeger, Melana Ellingson, Teddy Keller, Sophia Negash and Alexis Ratike managed to dance on that icy bridge with enthusiasm! 

Monteira Holmes and Ty'kel Norman joined us for the all-group dance after battling traffic and cold to get there.  

I'm super proud of these brave students and their commitment to this project.  

Thanks, too, to Tatiyonna Robinson and Averi Turner for their choreographing efforts!  

We have great kids in this school!
