Viva City
Minneapolis Public Schools this spring hosts the 19th annual Viva City arts series celebrating student achievement and classroom learning in visual and performing arts.
New to Viva City this year is a dance performance at the Ritz Theater on Friday, March 8, which will spotlight MPS’ newly expanded dance programs for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
Other events featuring students in grades six through 12 include fringe night at the Cedar Cultural Center on March 5, which will showcase a spectrum of alternative performers ranging from junkyard symphonies and rock bands to Bollywood dancers, and theater night at the Capri Theater on
