Why Do They Act That Way? Stay Connected with your student through
understanding and communication. A Survival Guide to the Adolescent Brain
Please join Erin Walsh at SWHS on Tuesday, Jan 15th at 7:00
- 8:30 p.m. in the SWHS Auditorium.
Erin Walsh of Mind Positive
Parenting will describe exactly what happens to the adolescent brain on the
path from childhood into adulthood. Revealing the latest scientific findings in
easy-to-understand terms, Erin shows why moodiness, quickness to anger,
willingness to take risks, miscommunication and other familiar teenage behavior
are so common-all are linked to physical changes and growth in the adolescent
brain. Erin Walsh also shows those who live and work with youth how to use this
information to understand, communicate with, and stay connected to teens.
