Former Southwest High School baseball standout set a school record at Dominican University in Illinois Saturday, hitting for the cycle in the first game of a double-header with Millikin University, according to D3Baseball.com:
Freshman Quinlan Milne Rojek (Minneapolis, Minn.) had a historic day for the Stars in game one, becoming the first player in program history to hit for the cycle as he went a perfect 6-for-6 with three singles, a double, a triple and a home run. After singling in his first three at-bats, Milne Rojek blasted a solo home run to right with one out in the top of the sixth. The Stars' rookie then doubled to center to lead off the top of the eighth.  After the Stars batted around in the inning, Milne Rojek tripled to right-center with two runners on base. Milne Rojek finished the game with five runs batted in and scored three times.
He was not too shabby in the second game of the double-header either, according to a separate postat D3Baseball.com:
Milne Rojek stayed hot in game two, going 2-for-4 with another run batted in to finish the day 8-for-10 with six runs batted in and three extra-base hits as the Stars' split the doubleheader. The freshman's monstrous day helped raise his batting average .171 points to a team-best .371 and he also pulled into the team lead with ten RBI on the season.
