The Best Party of the School Year is Back! Hot Notes on a
Cold Night Cabaret!
Hot Notes is the fundraiser for Southwest's performing
arts programs! It's a great party and raises essential money for our enriching
music, theatre and dance programs! Hot Notes offers many fun and effective ways
to chip in. Here’s how you can help us put on a great party and fundraiser!
#1 Save the date - Saturday, January 30, 2016 7:00 p.m.
It will be at the lovely St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church, just east of Lake
Calhoun.
#2 Donate to the auction - Popular items for our Off the
Wall and live auction include:
• Concert,
theater, and sporting event tickets
• Frequent
flyer miles
• Weekend
getaways at vacation properties
• Great
Gatherings: Host a get-together. We’ll sell the tickets! Proceeds will go to
our students’ performing arts enrichment!
#3 Volunteer - At the top of this month's to-do list:
• Help
our crack team of parent organizers contact local restaurants and shops.
Solicitation letters are going your favorite neighborhood businesses. Now we
need to follow up. Many are quite happy to donate when asked. Just ask!
• Help
get wine and beer donations or tasting parties! Do you have connections to
local wine & beer merchants, or do you want to get these connections? We’d
love your help.
