Southwest Students Sharing with Arab League Conference in Cairo, Egypt

Several Southwest students participated in long-distance discussion.  The Arab League Conference is being held this week in Cairo, Egypt.    Sixty representatives from the surrounding area came together to make plans for networking and other geopolitical common issues.

The process happening at Southwest will be similar to the one happening a day or so later in Cairo.  The messages, notes and comments will be shared with participates in the Arab League Conference and become part of the conferences dialogues and notes.

Students determined that different languages have different definitions and connotations of words and meanings.  And in some case no way to translate literally the words in one language to another.  That complicated the basic premise of working together toward a resolution.

Student will continue to maintain communication during the conference via internet, Facebook and Instragram.  Plans continue to integrate skype into the design aspects of the process.
