February Late Start Day Designated as Race to Justice Day
On February 9th Southwest High School will be hosting
its second Race to Justice Day.
Beginning at 10:00 AM students and staff
will participate in a number of workshops and seminars relating to justice in
our community, nationally, and internationally, branching out to all
intersections.
Student organizers from multiple different cultures joined
together to create a day where students and staff join together to dive into
deep discussions around race, history, art, economics, culture, and the
interplay between these topics as they relate to the concepts of racial and
social justice for all.
