Governor Dayton has determined that all schools in Minnesota will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6, due to unusually cold temperatures.
This closure will affect all Minneapolis Public Schools and school district programs.
The closure information will be communicated to families and the public on the MPS website, via social media and via a districtwide SchoolMessenger call.
