This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Viva
City. To celebrate the district is putting together a choir of 700 voices
and an orchestra of 150 and renting the Convention Center for two nights for
performances. April 28 and 29 are the performance dates.
Southwest alum Dessa teamed up with area choral composer
Jocelyn Hagen to write a commissioned piece for the performance. Come out
and hear the world premiere of Controlled Burn!
