Southwest Students Earn World Language Proficiency Certificates


Congrats to Southwest Students Earning Minnesota Language Proficiency Assessment Certificates

During April level four Spanish students took the Minnesota Language Proficiency Assessment (MLPA).This assessment, designed by the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) at the University of Minnesota, looks at each student’s ability to read, write, listen and speak Spanish.
The following students achieved the intermediate level based on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guidelines:
