The end of the calendar year carries variety of feelings for people. It is both a happy and sad time. Lots of memories and regrets happen during this time of the year.
We are trying to keep it together. Lots of holiday concerts. Busy time of school year with the approaching end of semester. College applications are due for many seniors. Early acceptance letters are coming in daily. The weeks are ones of stress and celebration.
But we need to stay up with the homework and projects. Even with cold weather we need to study for tests and pay attention to what is happening in class. School and learning continue to move forward.
Expect some mood changes and a bit of impatience as the number of days until the break decreases. For teens this is a very confusing time of year. Friends believe all kinds of things. Families have different obligations. Teens are too big for the typical toys and yet like the mystery of the season. Too big and yet not big enough.
