The Southwest new addition is taking shape. The new main entrance, which will be in the middle the school, is taking shape. The pillars securing the third floor roof is slanted for aesthetic appearance. The floor door is off 47th and entrance will be surrounded by yard and bike racks.
The four rooms on the west side of the west building will open Monday, the 21st. Another two rooms will open in the east building late October. The next major move will be the kitchen and cafeteria late February.
The entire project is slated to be complete in the fall of 2016.
