SW Robotics Team Advances to FTC Super Regional Tournament

We are very excited to share the news with you that the Rubies Robotics Team (Ava Kian, Adalade Fanner, Isabella Kemling, Izzie Mack, Mitra Kian, and Rachel Springer)  has advanced to the FTC Super Regional Tournament!

The team received the Connect Award (Recognizes the team that is the most connected with their local community).    This award is an acknowledgement of their work with the Patrick Henry FRC team and MURA (Minneapolis Urban Robotics Alliance) that was highlighted in the SW Journal.    I am attaching the link to the article for your reference:

In  addition to the Connect award, Izzie Mack also became a Dean's List  Finalist and Ava Kian was a Dean's List Semi Finalist.  Izzie and Ava were chosen to be the nominated by the entire Rubies team.

For a little background,  The Dean's List Finalist recognizes Leadership and dedication of FIRST’s most outstanding FIRST Tech Challenge students.     Each team can nominate up to 2 members who are 10th or 11th graders.    It is an honor for those who are Semi-Finalist and Finalists, as well as the entire team!
