Hot Notes on a Cold Night Sat. Jan. 28

Seventh Annual Hot Notes on a Cold Night Cabaret Fundraiser for SW Music/Dance Saturday Night!

Date: January 28, 2012
Loc: The Cargill Stage of Children's Theatre
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Cost: $50/ticket at the door, $40/ticket in advance

It's not a secret that amid all the demands on school budgets funding for arts programs are often at the bottom of the list. Southwest is no different. However, through your generous donations, we have been able to keep our program thriving.

Help continue to keep the music alive at Southwest and have a wonderful time doing it. The 7th Annual Hot Notes on a Cold Night Cabaret will feature talented Southwest student performances including the ever-popular Southwest Jazz Band and Chamber Singers. You will also see solo and group performances from across the arts, including dance and theater. That's entertainment for everyone. See highlights from last year's event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaDeUdImlSw

In-between performances, while you are being wined and dined, browse over 100 Off-The-Wall donations from local community businesses and friends available for purchase at "market demand" price (meaning you buy when the price is right for you). Here's just a few of the many gift cards/tickets you can buy: Heidi's, Rustica, Spoonriver, Cave Vin, Minnesota Twins, and the James Sewell Ballet. Or plan an activity for a future date by signing up for a Great Gathering. We've got a full line-up of 'fun'draising events available including Sailing on Lake Pepin, An Old-Fashioned Showtunes Sing-A-Long with Robin Helgen, member of the Vocal Essence Professional Ensemble, or for the athletes, a Nordic ski class from our own SW Nordic coaches.

We have an audacious goal of raising over $35,000 and with your help, it can be done!.

This fundraiser is sponsored by the Southwest Music Boosters. Follow the link to learn more and purchase your tickets. Hurry! Seating is limited.
