So we are adding a minute to passing time. Starting Monday, Oct. 8 there will be 5 full minutes between classes. Gone is the excuse for being late to class.
The long term solution is to extend the school day by moving start time to 8:00 am. That is not going to happen this year but probably will be the case for the 2013-14 school year. A year late to benefit your child but that is way it is.
The bell schedule starting Monday is:
Period 1 8:30 - 9:17
Period 2 9:22 - 10:09
Period 3 10:14 - 11:01
Period 4 11:06 - 11:53
Period 5 11:58 - 1:16
A Lunch 11:58 - 12:24
Class 12:29 - 1:16
B Class 11:58 - 12:45
B Lunch 12:50 - 1:16
Period 6 1:21 - 2:08
Period 7 2:13 - 3:00
Still providing outstanding quality educational opportunities for all children regardless of the minutes in the passing time!
