Southwest practiced a fire drill today. The drill was successful. As with any drill there some areas that will need improvement. That is why we do the drills.
We will continue to conduct emergency drills whenever there is a change to our emergency routes due to construction. The staff and students are informed of changes daily. Teachers inform students of changes in emergency routes as they happen.
Today was the first of several emergency drills that practice safety.
