Southwest East Unit
The Southwest East unit is in preparation stages to be demolished in the coming week. Holes in the west side of the east unit announce the beginning of the end for the unit. Parts of the decorative other stone was removed and will be reused in new construction.
The picture is from 47 street and shows the ruble on that side which is where the old bike racks were located. In the very near future (fall of 2016) this will be the main entrance to the entire building.
The unit is secure and protected 24 hours a day.
