The Southwest Walkway opens today for the first time. Passage between the East and West unit will be through this walkway. The Walkway will be in use from today through about February of next year. The Link will be demolished to make room for the expansion of Southwest High School.
The Walkway will be open 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Walkway will be open during class changes and closed during regular class periods. Both buildings are accessible from the outside. During regular school hours, exterior doors are locked to entry and all visitors must enter thought the front door on 47th - door 3.
The Southwest addition is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2016.
