As a result of a "Mn state sets board grant" Tu
Dance gave full dance scholarships to the following African American students
from my dance classes: Dontazia Davis ,
Kenny Walker, Miasia Wise Asia,
Jhani Walker, Ben Ruiz, Qalid Hussein,
JahkeyrieMartin -Senna, Sharitah Nalule,
and Faydane Ouro Okondo.
A full ride of dance study after school. Thanks to Toni
Pierce Sands for coming with company members to identify those that had
"light and potential" and for including Southwest in this grant.
