Be very careful walking and driving. Take extra time when driving and walking. The main roads appear to be in reasonable conditions and the termperatures continue to drop.
The side streets are snow covered, plowed and slippery. The smooth surface is covering a sheet of ice and the results are slippery conditions. Intersections have been treated and remain slippery. Be very careful when turning from a major street to a side street.
Walking is horrible on sidewalks and street. The snow provides a little traction and can give a person a false impression of safety. There is ice under that snow.
The temperatures are in single digits. With wind chill any exposed skin is in danger. Bundle up and be careful.
