A winter storm warning was issued in our area beginning
yesterday evening and four to eight inches of snow and below zero temperatures
are expected through Thursday night.
MPS has canceled all after-school
activities this afternoon
due to weather-related travel conditions. These cancellations include Community Education youth enrichment classes, Area
Learning Center after-school activities and MPS athletic events. Minneapolis
Kids sites will remain open until parents pick up their children. Community
Education adult evening classes and adult enrichment activities will operate as
normal. We are communicating these cancellations to families now.
Please drive carefully in the
winter weather.
