This Valentine’s Day, experience the Art Shanty Projects by the light of the moon and the glow of the fire. Join us on the ice at night for pizza, desserts and hot drinks.
Tour the shanties at night and snuggle up around the bonfire! Take a ride around the lake in an ArtCar or one of the Pedal Bears! Cut a rug in the dance shanty, and marvel at the spectacular Firecracker Hat! And bring home some shanty swag because “Art Shanty Supporters Walk on Water.”

WHERE DO I GO? HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
After parking in the lot off of Ramsey Beach, you will have to trek about 1,500 feet out to the Art Shanty Projects. We strongly encourage you to dress for cold weather and snow: boots, snow pants, coat, hats, mittens, scarf. In plain terms, not dressing warmly enough will make for discomfort and less fun. It’s Minnesota, and we invite you to reimagine “dressing up” for Valentine’s Day at the Art Shanty Projects.
