We are adding two sections of social studies to reduce the numbers in those classes.
We are adding one section of Geography and one section of US History. About 30 students in each section will be involved in the change.
This past week students were informed of the change. Students were offered the opportunity to volunteer to be moved. If sufficient number of volunteers are not secured, there will be a random selection of students to move to balance sections and fill the new section. Students were informed of this volunteer and random selection process.
We strive to offer quality educational opportunities for all our students. We do believe that the number of students in the class support quality education.
The change will begin Monday Jan. 25 with the start of the new semester. Thus, a logical time for the change. I know all students will continue to experience a challenging and rewarding program.
