Southwest Parents: STEP-UP is recruiting motivated and reliable candidates for the 2010 program.
STEP-UP applications are now available in your child’s Career & College Center, located in room 104.
STEP-UP is a City of Minneapolis summer jobs program for Minneapolis youth ages 14 – 21. STEP-UP interns gain valuable job experience, explore career interests, and build professional skills while working at Minneapolis businesses and non-profit organizations.
The City of Minneapolis is focusing funds available for STEP-UP in 2010 on youth who meet low income guidelines and who typically have the fewest connections to the workforce.
The application deadline is January 29, 2010 so encourage your child to pick up their application today!
*All sections of the application must be complete in order for the applicant to be considered*
