Roads are ice

All the roads surrounding the school are very slippery. Yes, we had a line (actually a long line) of buses this morning that could not make the crest of the hill at 47th and Beards.

It seems that each day the roads have actually gotten slipperier. The normal school traffic wears down the ridges and bumps and make the roads smoother and more slippery.

The city has attempted to keep up with the conditions but there are still problem spots.

If you have needs to drive in around the school, please use extra caution. We do not want you to slam into a parked car or find yourself sliding off to a side or into another vehicle.

Snow is predicted and that may provide some different traction, it will also add to the problems with all that ice below.

Be careful out there.
