Southwest Speech Team at the Dolores Korfhage Hilke Memorial Speech Invitational
38 teams and over 600 students participated in the tournament held at South St. Paul High School Saturday.
Southwest Award Winners:
Impromptu -- Abby Harnack - 1st ploace
Original Oratory - Sirine Benjaafar - Honorable Mention
Extemp Speaking - Jaisha Syeda - 4th Place
Discussion - Maya Lassiter - 7th Place
Great Speeches - Avi Gori - 2nd Place
Overall the Southwest Team place 7th out of the 38 teams
