Everything started late. The last bus arrived about 30 minutes late, but we are off and running.
I am sure some students stayed home this morning for a variety of reason relating to the snow. Some of the side streets are very thick and slippery. Depending on the condition of the driveway I am sure a couple could not navigate the snow.
Considering all the of the possibilities, attendance is really ok. A little over average but in general most made their way into school. We have telephone calls to the attendance line (612-668-3088) for many who are home and a note on return will work for those not calling in.
Music students are in and out do to the practice for tonight's concert. That is slow going also and all those buses have been running about 30 minutes behind schedule. Regardless of the day there are lots of activities at school.
Remember no parking on even sides of the streets - snow emergency. There is extremely limited parking around the school. Side streets and sidewalks are very slippery.
