A Fantastic Full House Celebration of the Southwest Community

The Southwest Choirs with the support from the Lake Harriet 7th and 8th grade choirs produced a fantastic show for the parents and community tonight!

The choirs were joined by a full pit orchestra for the final number and over 400 voices on the stage and on the wings.  The standing ovation started before the finish.  It was incredible!

We are Southwest!

If you missed this one you missed a masterpiece.  It was fun and wild and just a great evening of celebration and song.  Every elementary needs a strong music program.  That means choirs practicing daily and opportunities for orchestra and band.  Every child needs to experience rhythm and his/her voice being part of a larger community.  Then it all comes together with a tremendous high school experience. The hard work, the practice, the commitment and then the performance.

The Choir Concert was fantastic.  You need to come early to find a seat.  You need to fel the energy and the pride.
