Dress Warmly - Temperatures Below 10 Degrees All Week

WARNING!  FREEZING TEMPERATURES!

The weather forecast for this week is below 10 degrees all week.  The morning lows could be well below zero.  That means you need to bundle up for that walk to the bus stop and to school.  Exposed skins can develop frostbite rapidly.  Be prepared with scarves, hats, warm coats, gloves and material to protect face. A walk one block long could be harmful.

Remember the Walkway!  Even though it is covered and has walls it is not heated.  The walk between the east and west building is not that long but remember it is going to be freezing cold all week.  Make sure you dress in layers.  Have clothes warm enough for the walk through the walkway but easy to remove once in a classroom.  Sitting in a classroom overheated is not good either.

Whether it is a walk from the bus stop or a walk from your car, the temperatures can be harmful.  Protect exposed skin.  Wear warm clothes in layers to protect from frostbite.  If you stay after school for activities, remember the night temperatures drop quickly.  You will need to protect yourself once you leave the building.

After school - remember to have your pick-up at door 5 or door 7.  You can stay in the building and still see out to watch for pick-up.

Dress for the cold temperatures.
