Southwest Jefferson Project Coats for Kids Nov. 17 to 21st.

Several Southwest students are engaged in the Jefferson Project.  This program recognizes, inspires and activates volunteering and public service in communities, workplaces and schools.

The students are competing in a Warm and Fed Challenge beginning Monday, November 17th  and ending, Friday, November 21st.  The Salvation Army will place big bins by  Door Three for coats, gloves, socks and hats this week.  Other bins will be used for canned goods.

The students are really excited about this projects as they are competing with ten other schools.  If they win, there will be a pep rally with MN Viking Players.

Please talk to your students about helping to gather warm clothing and food for people in need.  One week, so much to gather!  ONE WEEK only.

Thank you so much for helping.
