This is the middle of the 1st nine-week grading period. Students get a bit excited around grading time. You might want to have the conversation about expectations and support. Homework, unfinished tests and the other school stuff needs to be completed and turned-in to be counted. The Parent Portal is up to date and as the parent you know the current status of your student.
For our new students this is the first grading period that has direct relationship to his/her later life. Everything up to this point has been informative and helpful. High school grades are part of the notorious Transcipt that stays with you the rest of you life. Let's make it a good one.
