Southwest Connections
A class for 9th and 10th grade parents to help your students succeed
6 Week curriculum beginning Tuesday, Sept 20th
Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Classes will be held at SWHS
The Curriculum we will be studying includes:
Ø Understanding the Southwest High School system
Ø How to support your student at home
Ø Ways to get involved at SWHS – for both the parent and student
Ø Requirements needed to get into college: GPA, classes, testing, etc
Ø Higher education options and expectations for the future
Ø College and financial aid
Program in 3 languages, transportation and child care available, refreshments served
